It promises to be a very messy day with snow beginning this morning changing to rain for the afternoon.
10 to 15 cm of snow is possible followed by 5 to 10 mm of rain.
Because of that, there is no school today in Lunenburg and Queens Counties.
The French school in Cookville is also closed.
Tri-County schools (Shelburne, Yarmouth and Digby) are closed for the day as are all schools in the Annapolis Valley.
For those of us keeping track …. the first day of spring is now … 23 days away!
