A scaled-back search is underway today in Shelburne County for a man who’s been missing for a week. Charles Cecil Slate disappeared last Tuesday after he was charged with child pornography offences. His car was found Saturday in a wooded area about 3 kilometers from the Lockeport Exit of Highway 103. RCMP and Department of Natural Resources officers are doing patrols today of rugged terrain in the area using ATV’s.
