Highway 103 is closed in both directions near Ingramport due to a head on collision.
The accident occurred some time after 10 AM this morning.
According to Dal Hutchinson, media relations with the RCMP, three people were involved in the accident.
Two have non-life threatening injuries and the status of the third occupant was not available.
All three have been transported to hospital.
Hutchinson says the highway will be closed for some time.
“We do have a collision analyst attending the scene so the highway is expected to be closed between 5 and 5a for the next few hours.”
Hutchinson says it’s too soon to say whether or not the highway will be open by rush hour.
