Council for the Municipality of Chester is considering what to do with their sewer systems. Yesterday they heard the results of a community survey conducted by staff. Director of Community Development, Tara Maguire, says they were hoping the results would help them figure out the next step.
“Council was looking to know whether or not there was any interest in the community in connecting and potentially expanding those systems,” she says.
Maguire says they were unable to get a definitive answer from the community through the survey. She says the system will need work, one way or the other, in the near future.
