Shelburne Man Headed To Jail For Trafficking Cocaine

A Shelburne man has been sentenced to three years in jail for trafficking cocaine.

28 year old Arlee Lamar Davis was sentenced Tuesday in Bridgewater.

Davis was stopped at a traffic check point in April 2014 by members of the Queens RCMP.

He was on probation for an earlier conviction for trafficking cocaine.

Police found marijuana and 78 grams of cocaine concealed within the vehicle he was driving.

Davis cannot own firearms for the rest of his life, and was ordered to surrender a sample of his DNA for the offender database.
