Chester’s Shoreham Village Home for Special Care and Northwood have partnered to save operating costs.
Shoreham’s CEO, Alice Leverman says many changes to long term care meant they needed to find ways to cut expenses without compromising resident care.
“We are concerned as we look to the future about how we can continue to provide high quality, safe care for our residents.”
The new partnership means Shoreham will be able to reduce the need for management and administrative functions and focus resources on resident care.
Leverman is nearing retirement and has agreed to stay on for the next couple of months during the transition.
Northwood’s CEO, Janet Simm will assume the position for both when Leverman retires.
