Snow Reunion Is Big Money Generator For Queens

The next several days are especially busy in Liverpool. The 24th annual Hank Snow Reunion is underway. Thousands of die-hard Snow fans have descended on the community from across Canada and the United States. Region of Queens Mayor Christopher Clarke says its a barn-burner of a good time with lots of money rolling into the local economy. The mayor says: “The word we are getting is the hotel accomodations are way up, they’re full. So thats bringing money into the community and we are working hard to encourage them to get downtown to experience the new shops and the new stores that we have in Liverpool.” The Reunion runs until Sunday and the venues for the various shows and displays are Queens Place-Emera Centre and of course, the Hank Snow Hometown Museum.
