Snowfall Warning In Effect For Lunenburg County

Weather could pose a problem for travellers and many going back to work this morning.

A snowfall warning is in effect for the entire South Shore region.

Snow will start late this morning with up to 25 cms expected.

Wind out of the northeast gusting to 40 kms could cause blowing snow.

Those travelling tonight, snow is expected to change to ice pellets and then taper to flurries. 15-25 cms of mixed precipitation is expected affecting visibility and driving conditions.

There are 4 departures and arrivals cancelled out of Halifax International airport so far.

It’s a good idea to check the web site, hiaa.ca before leaving for the airport.
