A South Shore financial institution has received a prestigious, national award.
The LaHave River Credit Union in Bridgewater has picked up the Prime Minister’s Volunteer Award for Business Leader in Atlantic Canada.
Stephen Harper was on hand at yesterday’s ceremony in Toronto and presented the award to the credit union’s CEO Corey Rogers.
Awards were also presented to several other groups from across the region.
