South Shore Leadership Forum Comes To Italy Cross

There are three people looking to replace Darrell Dexter as leader of Nova Scotia’s New Democratic Party.

Gary Burrill, Lenore Zann and Dave Wilson are all seeking the party leadership.

Burrill says his campaign is focused on income inequality and poverty.

“We want to take the party and make a turn in the direction of fundamental values of social justice,” said Burrill.

All three candidates will be be taking part in the South Shore Leadership Forum Monday, January 4th at 6:30 at the Italy Cross Fire Hall.

A new leader will be announced at the Leadership Convention weekend Feb. 27 and 28.
