Stella Bowles Back At It

A young girl in Bridgewater has no intention of waiting patiently on the province to clean up the Lahave River.

Stella Bowles has composed a letter asking about a resolution that was presented earlier this year.

If passed, it would make it mandatory to replace straight pipes when a home is sold.

“I’m writing tot he premier and Margaret Miller just to say thank you for putting it forward, ’cause I know it’s just kind of sitting there. Just, kind of, remind them.”

The 12-year-old says she doesn’t want the issue to fade to the background.

“We haven’t heard anything. So, we just want to tell them that we know what’s happening.”

Bowles has posted the letter to her Facebook page where it has been seen by almost 10,000 people.
