Planning on canceling or changing your cell phone or internet plan sometime soon? Good news, it will soon be a lot easier!
The CRTC is eliminating fees to switch or cancel internet and cell phone plans. They are aiming to give people more flexibility and want to allow customers to find better deals. They also are creating a Wireless and internet code that will help people understand their contracts better and help people avoid unexpected charges.
It goes into effect on June 12th.
