Terry Roy Levy Retrial: Day 5

The retrial of Terry Roy Levy has been building to this point all week.

The jury heard, for the first time, an account of the actual moment when Terry Green lost his life.

They spent the afternoon watching a video of Levy, who was brought back to Little Tancook Island to walk investigators through what happened.

Levy shows them to the basement where he retrieved the gun.

He then walks through a path to his brother’s house where he shot Green the day before.

When asked why he chose that location Levy says he didn’t want to “mess up” his mother’s lawn.

In the video Levy is asked to recreate the scene, sitting on his brother’s step while an investigator plays the role of Green.

The Little Tancook Island man says no words were exchanged before he shot and killed his daughter’s boyfriend.

Levy says Green wasn’t going to stop coming towards him so he pulled the trigger and kept shooting until the gun was empty.

The reenactment, and an agreed statement of facts were the last of the prosecution’s evidence.

Final arguments are scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.
