The Nova Scotia Advisory Council on the Status of Women Celebrates 40 Years

The Nova Scotia Advisory Council on the Status of Women is celebrating a 40 year anniversary this month.

The council was established in 1977 to educate the public and advise the provincial government on issues of interest and concern to women.

The celebrations coincide with Women’s History month.

The National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls will also hold community hearings in the province at the end of the month
