They said it took off and they couldn’t find it afte rthey shot it. I don’t agree with shooting teh dog while it’s attacking a deer, bu tthen again if it was attacking another family pet I’d likely elect to shot it, so who knows. Anyway, just wanted to say that they didn’t “leave it to run off in the woods wounded”, they tried to locate the dog but couldn’t
