This popular clothing store’s Shelburne location is closing

Last night I noticed some online chatter about the closing of one of the most beloved stores in Nova Scotia. Guy’s Frenchy’s Shelburne location is shutting down. The property is up for sale and I did recive offical conformation! See below!

I messaged the company late last night and did recive this statment.

Thank you for reaching out about our Shelburne location.  Yes, the news is true.

This wasn’t a decision we made lightly, and we have made many operational changes over the last few years to help Shelburne become more successful. Unfortunately, we have had to them make the decision to close our doors. Our last operating day will be September 30, 2026

We have appreciated our customers over the years and all the support the community has  provided. Just as much as you will miss us, we will miss you. 🙂

Hopefully, you’ll be able to stop by before we close and stock up on any goodies you find

We do have a location in Yarmouth and one in Liverpool as well.

Hav a great day!
