A tour desgined to showcase rural attractions goes Saturday in Lunenburg County. The first annual Rural Arts and Life Tour gives people a chance to visit over 30 experiences including home-made goods, farm animals, massages and fine furniture. The tour stops in Lower, Middle and Upper Cornwall along with Blockhouse, Newburne, Parkdale and Maplewood. One of the organizers, Kathy Rafuse, says the tour should help raise awareness. She says, “We tend to have a lot of direction towards the ocean and seaside festivals. We feel that the country is just as beautiful and a lot of us don’t have signs out by the road, it’s word of mouth so this really helps people to come in and see what we’re doing.” The tour goes from 10am until 4pm.
