Town Of Bridgewater Looking For Interest In Temporary Skate Park Equipment

The Town of Bridgewater is looking for a new home for it’s temporary skate park equipment.

Rather than have it recycled, they want it to be put to better use.

Communications Coordinator for the town Patrick Hirtle says they’ve seen the benefits to in their own community.

“We’ve got this equipment [and] we know that it’s good. We know that our kid have been using it for the past several years,” he says.

“We know that there’s an opportunity out there that there may be other communities that need this kind of temporary skate park equipment – they have their own use and are looking for a place to skate.”

The temporary Skate Park was put in place so kids had a place to go while the permanent park is being built.

Any Municipalities, not-for-profit organizations and schools are asked to share their interest in the donation.

A full list of available equipment is available at The Town of Bridgewater.
