There was a terrible accident during Saturday night’s Christmas Parade in Yarmouth.
RCMP say a 4-year old girl died after falling under a passing float.
Corporal Dal Hutchinson tells CJLS News that just before 7 p.m., Yarmouth Town RCMP responded to an incident on Starr’s Road during the parade.
RCMP officers were nearby and EHS responded.
He says the girl was transported to the Yarmouth Regional Hospital where she passed away from her injuries shortly after arrival.
He says the investigation is continuing.
