The Centennial Trail is temporarily closed to public users until further notice.
The Town of Bridgewater has closed the trail until the dangerously dry conditions improve.
The move comes in the wake of the Department of Natural Resources closing forested crown lands to hiking and camping activities.
Signs will be posted on site.

In the Municipality of Lunenburg, Miller Point Peace Park, MARC Trails, and Indian Path Common are closed.
Others are also off limits to the public including Arthur Run Trail, LaHave River Trail, Bay to Bay Trail, Dynamite Trail, Bull Run, Adventure Trail, and South Shore Annapolis Valley Trail.

In the Town of Lunenburg, the Back Harbour Trail is closed.
In the Region of Queens, Pine Grove Park, Trestle Trail, Rails to Trails, Meadow Pond Walking Trail are all closed.

In Yarmouth County, the Tkipok Trail by the former Arcadia School and the Forchu River Trail at the Hebron Recreation Complex will be shut down until further notice.
