The fire in Broad River is now 100% contained.
According to Bruce Nunn, spokesperson with the Department of Natural Resources, it has held steady at about five hectares.
At least ten fire departments are involved in the fire that began yesterday around midday.
Several DNR crew members also spent a majority of the day on scene along with two helicopters.
One helicopter will remain in Queens overnight in case it is needed.
The cause is not yet known.
The entire South Shore is now under a full fire ban along with much of the rest of the province.
