Highway 3 in Upper LaHave, Lunenburg County has reopened following a garage fire this morning.
Fire departments from Dayspring, Oakhill, Bridgewater, Riverport, Lunenburg, Hebbville, Northfield and Blockhouse were called after 11 a.m this morning.
The garage, which was attached to a home, suffered heavy damage.
The home suffered some damage but is not a complete loss.
There were no injuries.
A family of six are expected to get help from the Canadian Red Cross.
A pet rabbit also escaped unharmed.
Dayspring Fire Chief Stanley Slauenwhite says the cause of the fire was electrical.
