There are still some people affected by power outages in the South Shore.

Nova Scotia Power is reporting a few outages in Hubbards, Chester Basin, New Germany and surrounding area, Newcombville and Hebbs Cross.
There are also minor outages in First South, Lapland, West Dublin, Western Head, Port Clyde and East Jordan.
NSP estimates power may not be restored until as late as 5:00 p.m.

As of 12:20 p.m., more than 7,000 people were without power in Nova Scotia.
