UPDATE: Thousands Without Power Across The South Shore

Update: 10:45 p.m

Another winter storm is causing power outages across the South Shore.

About 700 homes and businesses are without power in parts of Lunenburg County.

In Queens, about 1,100 are in the dark.

Meanwhile, power has been restored in Shelburne County.

Nova Scotia Power is blaming the outage on heavy snowfall.

The power utility says electricity will be restored between 12:30 and 6:15 Saturday morning.

NSP is reporting over 55,000 people without power across the province.
