Police have released the age and residence of the person killed in accident on Highway 103 yesterday.
RCMP say the head-on collision claimed the life of a 63-year-old woman from Ontario, who was a passenger in a 2015 Chrysler 200 car.
A 62-year-old man from Ontario was driving the vehicle.
He was taken to hospital by EHS with non-life threatening injuries.
A 67-year-old Chester woman was driving the second vehicle – a 2013 Honda CRV.
She too was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Exits 5 and 5a near the Ingramport Connected remained closed until 7 pm last night while an RCMP Collision Analyst collected evidence.
The investigation continues.
Police extended their thoughts to the family of the victim.
