Wet weather and mild temperatures in store for Tuesday night across the South Shore.
Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for Lunenburg, Queens, Shelburne and Yarmouth counties.
Around 20 millimetres of rain is expected to fall.
That combined with a warm temperature could cause significant snowmelt and possible flooding.
The weather agency says there could also be water pooling on roads.
