Jenna Martin is one step closer to an Olympic medal. The 24-year-old finished third this morning, running 51.98 seconds, good enough to move ahead to the women’s 400 metre semi-finals. Close to 80 people showed up to Bridgewater town hall to watch Martin run. Mayor Carroll Publicover is proud of Martin’s accomplishment.
Martin will run her semi-final tomorrow at 4:05. Bridgewater town hall will open its doors once again to broadcast the event. Doors are expected to open around 3:30pm.
