War Amps Key Tags Still Helping Amputees

Those familiar War Amps key tags will soon be arriving in the mail for residents on the South Shore.

Since 1946, the program has helped return more than 1.5 million sets of lost keys.

Spokesperson Jamie Lunn says donations support amputees.

“It is a free service to Canadians. If they find value in the service they often choose to donate to the Wam Amps which helps amutees across Canada with programs and emotional support,”

She says the service is more important than ever, with the high replacement cost of keys and remote devices.

Key tags can be ordered any time.
