Weekly Gas Prices In NS Will be Set Tonight

An increase is expected for drivers in Nova Scotia this week according to a senior petroleum analyst.

Dan McTeague with Gasbuddy.com says gasoline could rise by about 2 to 3 cents per litre when the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board makes a price change at midnight.

“With diesel we’re looking at likely at about a penney increase.”

McTeague says it’s sometimes difficult to make an accurate prediction because the NSURB seems to set prices based rule of thumb rather by rule of market.
