The list of this year’s names for the Atlantic Hurricane Season is out. Is your name on the list?
The Atlantic Hurricane season will officially begin on June 1st, and usually wraps up on November 30th.
The list or the 2017 season includes 21 names. Some of the names at the top of the list include, Arlene, Bret, Cindy, Don, Emily, Franklin and Gert.
Tropical Storm Arlene is currently active in an exceptionally rare storm to form this early in the season. It is only the second storm on record to form in April.
The names that are not retired this season, will be used again in the 2023 season.
