Gas prices are down again today! Self serve regular is selling at South Shore pumps for 91.9 cents a litre. Thats a drop overnight of 3 cents. High test is down by the same amount to $1.00.9. Diesel and heating oil are down a bit also but their prices are still higher than usual. Consumer advocate George Murphy says there’s a good reason for this! He tells us: “As you know over in Europe, they’re pretty heavy consumers of distillate products, more so than they are of gasoline. Thats part of the reason why we are seeing some support of (high) distillate prices.” Diesel fuel is down today at South Shore pumps by 3 cents to $1.05.9 a litre. Heating oil is also a couple of cents cheaper.
