Winter Still Alive And Well

Environment Canada is predicting temperatures over the coming weeks to be a little warmer then average for this time of year.

But, Meteorologist Tracy Talbot says that doesn’t necessarily tell the whole story.

She says mother nature still has some bitter nights and snow storms left before summer arrives.

“The official first day of spring is still a couple of weeks away yet, so we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed till then.”

Talbot says temperatures this weekend will be dropping well below zero once again.

And she warns a system that will be passing by the province tomorrow night could bring a fair bit of snow with it as well.
