Woman Airlifted To Hospital After Highway #3 Collision

A two-vehicle collision took place on September 15 on Highway #3 around 3:30 p.m. according to Lunenburg County RCMP.

They say the accident took place near Martins River and the highway had to be closed in that area for several hours.

A sole female occupant was airlifted to the hospital via LifeFlight after sustaining serious injuries. The male driver of the other vehicle received treatment at the scene and only sustained minor injuries.

RCMP are still investigating the cause of the collision, at this time no charges have been laid.
