The Mounties have charged a Halifax woman with impaired driving after she was caught speeding through a school zone. Lunenburg District RCMP say they stopped a 58-year-old woman in front of the elementary and middle schools in Chester. An officer noticed the woman showing signs of being intoxicated and arrested her. A breathalyzer test later revealed that she was two and a half times over the legal limit. The woman has also been charged with driving over the legal limit.
