A woman was taken to hospital after a two vehicle crash this morning on Highway 103 in Hebbs Cross, Lunenburg County.
An SUV and a van went off the highway near Conquerall Road around 9 a.m.
Hebbs Cross Firefighter Wendell Eisener says the jaws of life were needed from Bridgewater.
“Bridgewater is automatically on call if were require extracation, they have some larger gear than we have. It’s a good working relationship between Hebbs Cross and Bridgewater that goes back years, and years, and years. When they show up on scene it’s like one department working together.”
The woman’s injuries were considered non life-threatening.
A man who wasn’t involved in the crash was also taken to hospital after collapsing at the scene.
It was foggy and road conditions were wet when the crash occurred.
RCMP are investigating.
