World Junior Curling: Canadian Teams To Play For Gold

Both Canadian teams have advanced to the finals of the World Junior Curling Championship in Liverpool.
On the women’s side, Selena Sturmay’s team beat Switzerland 8-2 in their semi-final clash.
The Canadian women will play Russia for gold after the fourth seeds upset China 8-6 in the other semis.
On the men’s side, Tyler Tardi’s team put points on the board early in a 7-5 win over Norway.
The Canadian men will meet Switzerland in the championship game after the Swiss gave Scotland their first loss of the tournament, 10-9 in their semi-final.
The men’s gold and bronze medal matches will be held Saturday at 10 a.m followed by the women at 3 p.m at Queens Place Emera Centre.
