Two Yarmouth county men have pleaded guilty to possessing illegal lobsters.
Department of Fisheries officers found more than six thousand small lobsters on board the boat – Melanie Lynn II in 2012.
Earl Patrick Boudreau and Dennis Joseph Clairmont have been slapped with fines exceeding $60,000 in total.
Boudreau has been fines $50,000 banned from fishing lobster for three years.
Clairmont has been fined over $12,000 and suspened for a year.
