A search is on for a missing 46-year-old man in Yarmouth County.
RCMP responded to a call around 9 a.m this morning from a construction crew who witnessed a man fall out of his boat in Gavel Lake.
Police say early details suggest the man became distressed and was struggling to remain above water.
A nearby resident launched a row boat.
However, the workers and resident both lost sight of him.
RCMP and fire officials are searching the lake and shore for the man.
