Seafest runs until July 16.
There are dozens of events throughout the five day festival.
Seafest kicks off with the Children’s Parade and the Mayor’s Picnic in the Park from 1-3 tomorrow afternoon.
Festival president David Outhouse says they always try to keep things fresh, which can be a challenge.
“Trying to come with new ideas, keep the volunteers wanting to help us and keep the number of people who can help bring us new ideas.”
The Classic Car cruise-by through downtown Yarmouth goes Friday night beginning at 7pm
The Classic Car Show takes place Saturday from 10 to 4 in downtown Yarmouth. Main Street will be closed from 6am to 6pm Saturday.
The Classic Car Cruise Street Dance will be held between Cliff and John Streets between 9pm and 11pm Saturday.
There will be no street parade this year, however, there will be the popular Parade of Lights where boats are illuminated and decorated and cruise Yarmouth Harbour. That is scheduled for Saturday night.
