Yarmouth’s Shay Wins Nova Scotia’s First Medal At 2017 Canada Summer Games

Yarmouth’s Ryan Shay has won Team Nova Scotia’s first medal of the Canada Games in Winnipeg.

Shay took the silver medal in para-discus.

He is also competing in the para shotput final on Friday.

This is Shay’s second Canada Games.

He competed in wheelchair basketball at the 2015 Canada Winter Games in Prince George, B.C.

Shay was Yarmouth County’s Male Athlete of the Year in 2015.
