24 Hour RV Camping Site Proposed In Liverpool

A potential 24-hour RV camping site is in the works in Liverpool.

A five acre plot of land near the Hank Snow Museum is under the microscope.

The Region of Queens had to rezone the land from restricted residential to highway commercial.

Mayor Christopher Clarke says more visitors would benefit the area.

“We hope they would make their way up to Main Street, it’s not a very long walk. They will patronize the restaurants in the central part of town, they’ll do business in the local grocery store and who knows, maybe they will make it to the liquor store.”

The Friends of Hank Snow Society says its their goal to have a 24-hour RV park.

However, they have to get final approval from the province’s department of tourism.
