The Stars Are Coming To Nova Scotia

Travelling to Hollywood in hopes of spotting movie stars may not be an option right now, but who cares if they are coming to us. Nova Scotia has been a bit of a hot spot lately for actors and actresses with a few movies in production. Just the other day the wizard was in town.

Now this is not really that odd either. Think about it, we live in one of the most beautiful places in the world, so of course those that can go anywhere would want to see it for themselves. Having been lucky enough to work on a few movie and TV productions as an extra, I find it exciting when the Hollywood elite fall in love with our part of the world. When Moby Dick was filming in Shelburne I got to work with one of those famous folk that loved the province so much he bought an island, Ethan Hawke.

One question that was raised in conversation yesterday, do actors have to self isolate as well when the come to our country? There are some instances when folks do get exempt from the self isolating rule and here are the details.

For persons exempt from mandatory quarantine due to COVID-19

I do think that one of the happiest stories to come out of the CoVid-19 pandemic is that Tom Hanks recovered from it, and now he is telling his story about the experience.
