As February comes to an end and the weather seems to have more of a spring like feel, many of us are starting to think about upcoming warmer seasons. Birds singing, flowers and leaves on the trees, clear roads for travel.
That said, as more and more events are being cancelled again for 2021, what are you thinking of doing during this year’s travel season? I know discussions have been held, looking at reopening the Atlantic, or at least the Maritime Bubble, but there are many things to explore without leaving Nova Scotia. A UNESCO town here on the South Shore has even made the list of the top 12 spots in this province to visit and take a selfie.

For those of you that love to camp, by now you would normally have reservations made and dates marked on the calendar, this year that is delayed. Looks like you will be forced to be patient for a few more months until April to book.

In a couple weeks we will see a change that has spring written all over it. Grab the needed batteries for your smoke detectors as clocks “Spring Ahead” to enter Daylight Saving Time on March 14, 2021.
