The other day I saw a meme that said “I think I have Sick-Of-This-Crap-20 and I’m contagious” .
It got me thinking about whether anything positive came from this pandemic. And, not to be a Pollyanna, but a couple of positive things did come to mind.
We painted just about every surface inside and outside of our home (the deck is next) and I got a lot of odd jobs that were on the list crossed off. That’s positive , right?
On a more personal level, I think the pandemic and all the precautions we’ve had to take have made me more respectful and considerate towards complete strangers. From the person behind the counter at the store to the other shoppers just trying to get a few needed supplies without getting the virus.
And even my attitude towards coworkers has changed. When they are often the only human beings you interact with all day, you start to cherish those interactions whereas before you took them for granted.
So, I know this may be tough, but what positive thing for you came from the pandemic?
