As the leaves start to turn colours and the evenings start to get cooler, we are reminded that summer is ending. As we are halfway through September, that means Halloween is getting closer. I see the treats and costumes in stores already. This year we have a full moon on Halloween, just to add to the spookiness.
I thought I would mention this a bit early this year, in case you are thinking of exploring the area and like the idea of visiting, or staying at a spot that is said to be haunted. Often when people mention a spot that is haunted, we think of the old European castles, or maybe the witch haven of Salem, but you don’t have to go far to find places surrounded by ghost stories. Here is a ghost tour you can take around our province and explore a whole bunch of spooky spots.

Now there are a lot of other spots to explore within our Atlantic Bubble and if you are brave enough to spend the night in a hotel known for ghostly encounters, a drive to New Brunswick is all it takes.
The good news for those of you that love Halloween, our province is planning on it being recognized as normal even with CoVid-19. The challenge will be trying to ensuring social distancing while handing out treats. One Dad may have created the perfect solution for Halloween 2020.
