It’s a brand new series. The South Shore Lumberjacks scored four unanswered goals in a 4-1 win over the visiting Truro Bearcats last night.
That evens the best of seven first round series at two games apiece.
Brandon Syms scored a pair for the Jacks while Brian Reardon and Alex Rawding added singles.
The Lumberjacks out-shot the Cats 38-18.
Game five goes tomorrow night in Truro before the clubs return to Bridgewater on Monday.
In other MHL playoff action the Valley Wildcats staved off elimination with 6-2 win in Pictou County.
The Crushers still lead 3-1.
Summerside also stayed alive by outscoring Campbellton 6-4.
The Tigers still hold a 3-2 series edge.
