It’s a day off for students attending Evelyn Richardson Memorial Elementary School in Shag Harbour.
The TCRSB says the school is closed because of a power outage.
There are a couple of outages on Cape Sabe Island. Nova Scotia Power estimates service to be restored at 11am.
There’s are also outages in the Lower Woods Harbour, and West Baccaro areas.
Restoration time is 1pm. NSP says they were caused by snow and strong wind.
