Bridgewater musicians are gathering at Interval Cafe tonight to sing for a good cause.
‘South Shore Sings For Fort Mac’ is raising money for those affected by the wild fires.
People can request a song to be played for every $10 donation to the Red Cross.
Singing-along is encouraged.
Organizer Vickie Grey says this event means more than forking over cash.
“A win is people getting together and having a good time and feeling like they are connecting with people who are in trouble but doing it in a way that is positive and optimistic.”
It’s one of a few events taking place to raise money for the Red Cross, including a concert in Lunenburg on Saturday.
