A 13-time East Coast Music award winner is doing his part to raise money for Connor Hirtle.
J.P. Cormier will play a benefit concert on October 20 at 7 p.m. at the Best Western Hotel in Cookville.
Hirtle suffered a serious spinal cord injury in July.
He is currently rehabilitating.
The concert is being organized by Gary Lohnes of Green Bay in Lunenburg County.
Tickets are available through him or at Bridgewater Pharmasave or the Best Western.
They cost $25 in advance, $35 at the door and can only be paid for by cash.
