Linnea Veinotte’s husband, Matt, has released a short statement.
In it he thanks the Grenada Police who helped in the search for his wife who went missing on Sunday while walking their dog.
He says: ” We are of course devastated at the loss of our beautiful Linnea, mother, wife, daughter, sister, and a friend to so many.”
He goes on to say: “We would like to thank the many hundreds of people who helped in the search and the many, many thousands in Grenada and around the world who have offered their support, kindness and prayers.”
The statement was posted on a memorial facebook page at around eight o’clock Friday night.
Matt Veinotte says he hopes the page will become a place for people to share their happy memories with Linnea.
Veinotte’s body was found Friday, hours after a man wanted for questioning turned himself in.
The Grenada Police continue to investigate.
